By the assembly the operating license of the vehicle expires if not immediately a, according to StVZO §19, Abs. 2 in connection with §21 prescribed test is accomplished. After the technical modification has been carried out, the vehicle must therefore be immediately presented to an officially recognized expert at a technical inspection center.

However, the respective expert/inspector is free to refuse registration!
